This was a really quick, sweet, second chance romance.
A Touch of Cinnamon is the 2nd in a set of books surrounding 3 sisters. I was a little worried about diving into this one with out having read book one, but it wasn't an issue.
Natasha and Jericho were college sweethearts - for reasons only she understands, she left him without a word. Fast forward and they are both living in her small home town, with businesses across the street from each other and friends in common. They finally talk and old sparks reignite.
Being that this is a fairly short book, there isn't too much deep diving or angst driving the story. I worried a little at how quickly Jericho forgave Natasha - I was concerned it would come back and blow up in their faces, but the story seemed to fast forward past those issues and that is a big part of why this is a 3.5 star read instead of 4.
Overall I enjoyed this book and read it in one day partly because I didn't want to put it down. I really liked all the characters and want to go back and read book one and am looking forward to the third sister's book.
