Beach Vibes is a relationship story. Yes, romantic relationships, friendships, and families are all woven into the story. But, the key relationships here are those with self.
Beth and Jana are the two female main characters and they meet at a time when both could use a friend. We follow them as they develop friendships, explore the things they need, and start to form new romantic entanglements.
The storytelling here pulls you in and has you rooting for both women. I appreciated getting to know them and could see little bits of myself in their journeys. Both women had growing to do and the cast of characters around them (mostly) helped that occur.

These stories are so sweet!
Both Ms Foster and Ms Yates tell excellent stories about rescued animals and people who are a bit wounded.
These are both quick reads and as such the character development isn't super deep. That works in these stories as they are really feel good reads.

Such a sweet read! Leighton and Miles have an adorable meet cute and a great first date… until they discover that he works for her father.
They spend a year fighting things, being friends, and getting to know each other. I enjoyed the build up, the way they built a foundation that was there when the tension finally got to be too much and they combusted together.
My only complaint was that some of the tension building went a little too long - there were too many “I feel guilty” moments before they went public in the worst way.
This is a connected stand alone and reading in order will add to the enjoyment, but it’s not necessary. Reading the other books helps understand who the secondary characters are, but Miles and Leighton are both basically new here.
