What happens when a one night stand turns into the best thing that ever happened to you?

There is a lot going on here - there is family drama, office drama, enemies (or are they) to lovers, and a couple of other surprises along the way. Ms Scott does an excellent job of weaving all of these things together for a story that I didn’t want to leave.
We’ve met Noah before - as a secondary character in his brother’s stories, so it was fun to see a more grown up Noah take center stage. He’s easy to like and easy to root for as he and Liv reconnect. She is a new character and a bit harder to get a read on, but I couldn’t help like her as the layers were peeled back.
I definitely appreciated the way Ms Scott handled this feel good story once our characters got through the first rough patches. I especially liked how the conflict was external to their interactions and not the most obvious path to take.
If I liked the story so much, why only 4 stars? To be honest, it was a series of small things. Most fall under personal preference so I won’t list them here - they really were just little issues that I found briefly distracting.
Overall, You Forgot to Say Goodbye is an excellent addition to the Westcott family stories. This is a sequential stand alone, so if you haven’t been reading in order there will be spoilers. I am curious to see if baby sister, Marina, will have a story.
