From USA TODAY BESTSELLING AUTHOR Claudia Burgoa comes this billionaire workplace accidental pregnancy romance that’ll leave readers laughing and swooning!
What happens when you break the cardinal rule?
I’m good at following rules.
Like, don’t sleep with your hot employees. That’s a good rule.
At least I was until that night. I blame the champagne and the tuxedo he wore.
There are several reasons why I shouldn’t be attracted to Elliot McPhee.
1.He’s emotionally unavailable.
2.He’s in his mid-forties—too old for me.
3.He’s my employee.
4.He’s jaded after a disastrous divorce.
5.He’s leaving soon.
But he has gray eyes, and a deep velvety voice…did I mention he looks like Joshua Jackson?
I can’t resist.
It’s just a one-night stand before he leaves.
Except, things get complicated.
We’re talking two bright pink lines complicated.
Did I mention he has no desire to commit?
So, we agree not to try.
Except, we can’t keep our hands off each other.
Then I find out he’s not who I thought.
He’s so wrong for me. So why do I still want to create a family with him?
Along Came You is a forbidden age gap romance involving a secret billionaire and an accidental baby. Get ready to laugh, swoon, and be seduced by sexy billionaires willing to please their women!

Auschwitz, 1941: It was her father’s job to save the lives of the SS. But she chose to risk everything and save the lives of prisoners.
In Nazi-occupied Poland, Sofia cannot look her father in the eye. Sofia’s mother, her papa’s cherished wife, is Jewish—how dare he work as a doctor for the SS? She cannot forgive him, even if the bargain was made to spare their lives.
In the middle of the night, Isaac emerges from a packed train with hundreds of others. Beneath Auschwitz’s barbed wire, soldiers surround them, and gunshots pierce the dark sky. The SS decide prisoners’ fates on the spot—and Isaac is chosen to work, rather than to die.
Every day, Isaac and his fellow inmates are sent to a nearby farm. From sunup to sundown, they toil the land with barely a scrap to eat. Every breath feels like it could be Isaac’s last, so when he sees a beautiful auburn-haired girl peering out of the farmhouse window, it feels like a dream…
Sofia refuses to accept what she is seeing. Disobeying her father and evading the guards, she risks her life to sneak a letter to the green-eyed boy outside. She explains that she has hidden them food, and that she’ll do everything in her power to save them.
This secret exchange sparks an escape that should have been impossible—and a love story that is unforgettable. But is love enough in the face of evil? And when Sofia and Isaac are concealed underground, holding their breath as the Nazis hunt them, will they survive?

The Widow Rules series was one where I enjoyed the first book, so was excited to see what would happen next for the trio of unlikely friends.
This installment of the series focuses on Constance and her childhood friend, Jonathan.
I enjoyed getting to know Constance, Jonathan, and the secondary cast of their staff and friends. These are characters that come to us with history and baggage. How they deal with those issues colors their interactions and takes an unusual situation and makes it real and relatable.
The time line for this is sequential to book 1, so it definitely makes more sense if you read the series in order. Seeing Constance follow in Kat’s footsteps for a potential happy ending has made me more curious to see how the series will conclude with Beth’s story.
This was an entertaining romantic suspense read. Dillion has recently inherited a ranch from her aunt and has trouble brewing when she finds Cal on her land.
I enjoyed seeing these two get to know each other, even as they struggled with the outside forces trying to make things difficult. Ms Grant did an excellent job of balancing the suspense story line with the budding romance between Cal and Dillon. She also did a fantastic job of slowly revealing the master mind of the problems in such a way that the reader figures it out along with the characters.
As much as I enjoyed Cal and Dillon’s story, there were several small things - that I think really fall under personal preference- that pulled me out of the story. Those issues were what kept this from being a full 4 star read for me.
This was a fun book with a great slow build, friends to lovers relationship. Griffin and Serena are both interesting characters with mild baggage when we meet them. They are also dealing with a bit of a mystery. I enjoyed seeing how things played out and was surprised by the twist at the end.
Griffin has several siblings and they make for an entertaining secondary cast. One of the strengths of this book is that I was able to pick it up and not feel lost even though it was the second book in the series.

As we have navigated our way through the previous Jameson Forde security books, Dozer has been a steady secondary character. In Code Name: Revenge, he and his long time friend, Jessica, take a staring role.
Dozer and Jessica are dynamic characters and I enjoyed getting to know them and their little scene stealer, Thea. Friendship and devotion play a central role in how this story plays out.
This is a fast paced book that I would call a “semi-standalone” read. Dozer and Jessica’s story is independent, but they are fairly dependent on the secondary cast. That reliance on the secondary cast has me strongly encouraging readers to read at least some of the other Jameson books before diving in here.
My mom always said you don't get a second shot at making a first impression. I've remembered that my entire career. Especially since I'm one of the few black men who play professional hockey.
I'm calculated and respectful in the way I speak to my coaches, the owners, and the media. I've never taken a risk... until her.
I could blame it on the fact that for once I pushed away the pressure of my career for the ocean waves, the sand, and good times with my new teammates. But those are excuses because the minute I saw her at the airport, something lit up inside me and the best week of my life was spent with her in my bed.
After our week in paradise, we said goodbye, exchanged phone numbers and both assumed that unless one of us was flying through the other's city on the opposite side of the country, our vacation fling was over.
Then one night after practice I see her. She's here. In my city. Telling me she moved here for a job. If that's not fate tell me what is.
I've never wanted a second shot more than I do this time, but she's determined to leave what we were on the island we left behind.

The duo behind Piper Rayne teased us a bit with Cory in the previous book of the Hockey Hotties series (Offside with #55) and it was a pleasure to get to know him better here in his own book.
Cory is a character that I enjoyed getting to know. He's a young guy, but is more mature than he's been behaving. His interactions with family and teammates give great insights into who Cory is, but it was how he treated Ande (his potential love interest) that really made Cory shine. Ande is another character that I liked. It was easy to out myself in her shoes - how would I feel in her situation?
Piper & Rayne have done an excellent job with the Hockey Hottie series of showing some of the different aspects of the world around the Florida Fury hockey team. Not only has this helped incorporate additional secondary characters to let us get to know them better, but it has also added dimensions to the world these players and characters are living in.
As the 5th book in the series, Second Shot with #76 is technically a stand alone as Cory and Ande's story is independent of the other stories in the series. Having said that, I do think that reading the series in order will add to the enjoyment factor.

This is a free read that was definitely more than I expected. What did I expect you ask? I expected it to be well written (it is a Vi Keeland book after all) I expected romance I expected a little risky business I expected humor - with a blurb and set up like this one, how could I not?
Inappropriate delivered on all those expectations, but it also delivered a powerful emotional story woven in between the romance and humor.
The meet cute here is awesome and I loved how it played into the strengths of Grant and Ireland. The truly strong female lead character who stuck to her guns was great to see. Grant’s story is revealed in flashbacks and each one peels a little more of the onion away so that he makes more sense to the reader as he’s also revealing himself to Ireland.
The issues and emotions addressed in Grant’s back story are one of the things I liked most about Inappropriate, but it’s also one of the things that felt unfinished to me. I won’t go into detail about what those are, because I don’t want to spoil the story, but I will say that I needed just a smidge more in terms of full resolution.
This entertaining read has been on my TBR for a while. The Badd Brothers are new to me, but I have been curious about them since picking up the books when they were on sale. I liked Zane and Mara, along with his brothers and her friend that made up the primary secondary cast. I also found the premise of the story interesting.
If it's an entertaining read with likeable characters, then why is it an average read? Mainly because as much as I liked the characters, I had a hard time connecting with them. Mara and Zane are both veterans, but both have other baggage too. As they were getting to know each other, there was one particular scene that just stuck out for me as not really fitting, the emotional data dump of the converation seemed to be meant to establish the parameters for the couple, and while that was accomplished, it was just too much and went a little far. Some of the things that made this more of an average read for me are probably style/personal preference things, so I won't go into too much detail. I will say that in meeting the other Badd brothers, I am curious about their stories.
