This was such a fun read!
Sammy (Samantha) is the daughter of Liv and Van from the original BAM books. It was fun to see her as a grown up and how she has taken the gifts she was given and expanded on them. I especially loved how she is blazing her own path professionally.
That professional path has led her to Luke. He was a character that I just wanted to cuddle. Not because he’s soft and squishy, but because oh boy does this man just need a dose of softness!
From clashes to sparks to friendship and maybe more, the interactions between Luke and Sammy were fantastic and entertaining. Add in a great secondary cast made up of family and close friends and their story was very touching. The role Sammy’s family played was just perfect, but in terms of it being fun, but also in how some of those interactions have Luke the nudge he needed.
This was a great addition to the second generation Vested Interest series. I am curious - will we see more?
