From USA Today and the Wall Street Journal bestselling author of Full Tilt comes an emotional romance...
She kept her heart guarded and locked away...until she gave it to the world's biggest movie star.
In the dazzling world of Hollywood where fame and glamour reign supreme, award-winning megastar Zachary Butler longs for something more than red carpet events and paparazzi flashes. Rowan, haunted by a devastating moment in her past, shields her heart behind walls of guilt, letting no one in. But Zachary's genuine affection and desire for a meaningful life begin to chip away at her defenses. As their connection deepens, Rowan must battle the self-destructive patterns that have held her back from embracing her passions and finding true love, while Zachary must reveal his own hidden scars--wounds he's borne in silence for years--if he hopes to heal.
Can Zachary and Rowan confront their pasts to build a future together, or will the storms of scandal, tangled relationships, and the scrutiny of stardom ruin their hopes for a perfect Hollywood ending?

My rating: 5 of 5 stars - One of the Best

Falling Like Stars is a little bit of a Cinderella story wrapped in layers of unexpected.
Rowan is a "nobody" working as a PA on a movie when she makes a connection with one of the stars, Zach. Both characters are interesting and relatable in terms of the issues that they bring to the table.
This is a book that needs to be experienced, so I am not going to go into too much detail about the story - you get to read it for that!
Ms Scott takes a very honest approach to the baggage that both Rowan and Zach carry with them everyday. I appreciated that she allowed them to have weak moments and gave them grace to embrace the growth they needed to have to move forward.
There are some hard topics dealt with here, so it wasn't always an easy book to read. There were moments when I wanted to reach into the story and just hug the characters. Thankfully, they both have a network around them that provides support and nudges as needed. The emotions here are very real and pulled me in to the point where I stayed up way later than I should have to finish the book!
