This is a truly sweet, second chance romance with an enemies to lovers twist.
From the minute John and Quinn meet each other, it was obvious they would be great together, they just had to get there.
Ms Moreland took them on a wonderful journey that I struggled to put down.
I was so glad to meet these two and the scene-stealing Pumpkin! If you are looking for a feel good, slightly spicy read then this is it!

A Nordic King by Karina Halle
3.5 Stars - Worth a Readers Time
This is a prime reading book that was on my kindle and I finally dove in.
I enjoyed meeting Askel and Aurora in this nanny to a king romance. Both characters were interesting and I enjoyed getting to see behind the walls to who these two really are.
The first half of the story was the classic forbidden boss/employee story line where they struggled to get to know each other and the second half was them figuring out how to make their love work in the real world.
This was a solid 3.5 star read for me, except for when Aurora and Askel finally crossed the line in their physical realtionship. It just seemed strangley impersonable for two people falling in love.

This was an entertaining, quick read of a prequel.
It’s the set up for a series (that I haven’t read) where the patriarch/matriarch of a future family come together.
I liked Dermot and Ada, but I will say that the length of the book made it hard to really get to know them in depth. I will say this makes me slightly curious about the series and this author.
