The Ghostwriter
By Alessandra Torre
Genre: Psychological Suspense / General Fiction
Standalone, 316 pages
SYNOPSIS:
I have three months to write the last book of my life. Three months to confess the details of that day, and how it changed everything for me.
My name is Helena Ross. I’ve written fifteen romance novels, ten of which have become international bestsellers. But this one isn't a romance. This novel holds only the truth, which I have run away from for four years. The truth, which I have hidden from the police, from my loved ones, from the world.
This final book?
It's my confession.

Wow, just wow! The Ghostwriter is different from anything I have read in a long time, if ever.
Helena is a unique character and it takes some time to embrace her, but as the story moves forward it's almost impossible not to feel for her and be curious about exactly what had happened.
Ms. Torre takes us on a journey where we meet a daughter who felt unloved, a young woman wrapped up in love, a young mother who struggled, and a complicated woman who wanted to do want was right.
The suspense element weaves throughout the story and ramps up until it's impossible to put The Ghostwriter down without knowing how everything ends.
This is a book that pulled me in and wouldn't let go. If suspenseful reads are something you enjoy, then this is a must read!
