Adriana Locke has introduced us to some fun families over the years. We've had the Landrys and the Gibsons and now she is giving us the Mason family. In this fun new series, we return to Savannah (home of the Landry's) and some old friends pop in to help tell the story of the oldest Mason, Holt, as he has a fateful encounter with Blair Gibson (yes, the elusive sister of THOSE Gibson boys).

With a fun meet cute, Blair and Holt's story sizzles from the beginning. I enjoyed their interactions filled with fantastic push/pull moments featuring their equally strong personalities and great chemistry. Ms Locke also had both Blair and Holt have emotional epiphanies along the way as well, these were handled gracefully. I found myself relating very much to Blair and rooting for her to have the happy ending she deserved.

The story in Restraint moves very quickly, but it works well. A fantastic secondary cast adds a dose of humor to the story and helps move things along (i e when both Blair and Holt need kicks in the pants) and I can't wait to get to know the remaining Mason brother's better.
