I go into almost every Wicked Horse book wondering “how is Sawyer going to make this work?” Wicked Billionaire was no exception to that or to the fact the Ms Bennett (once again) created a book that pulled me into a story I didn’t want to leave.

Declan Blackwood is a character we met briefly in another of Ms Bennett’s books, but we get to know him and all of his jaded glory here. Bailey is a great leading lady for him because while she may be down, she definitely isn’t out, and she is more than capable of matching wits with him on multiple fronts.

I liked both characters and enjoyed their sparing sessions. It was very entertaining to watch the snobbish, confirmed bachelor get turned upside down and discover that maybe there was more to life than what he thought. Well written as always, this Wicked Horse installment stands on its own with very little character crossover.

Sawyer Bennett is one of my go to authors and Wicked Billionaire is another example of why.
