I Wish We Had Forever is the perfect conclusion to the Harbour Village trio!
Able has been in the background of the first two books and it was wonderful to get to know the real man behind the persona he's taken on. We met Jen in book two since she's Tuck's sister, and I liked her here too. As much as I liked these two alone, I loved them together.
Ms Peterson had Papa Joe (Jen's Dad) play a key role in this story. His matchmaking was top notch and the support he provided both Able and Jen as they navigated things was beyond sweet. Both characters had significant emotional growth that made me root for them to be a successful couple.
This was an entertaining story that pulled me in and wouldn't let go. The core is sweet, but there is a strong spicy element too. I will say that while this is a stand alone story, it leans heavily on background established in the first two books of the series. That's not to say a reader starting here wouldn't enjoy the book, but the experience would be enhanced by going in order.
