What are you working on now?

I’m working on a short story for the Hot for the Holidays anthology that will be released on 11/3. It’s just a short look into the holidays for Mia and her friends and family.

Do you get to write full time or do you also have a “day” job?

I have a full-time day job, though the dream is to cut that down to part or no time so I can concentrate on writing.

Favorite part of being an author?

Meeting and interacting with readers and talking about books.

Scariest part of being an author?

Releasing a book that has been a part of only you for so long and have others read it.

Who are your favorites to read?

Mia Asher, Colleen Hoover, Kristin Higgans; CD Reiss; M. Mabie, Kristen Ashley.

If you had $1 million to giveaway, what would you do with the money?

I’d like to open a school for kids with special needs that get lost in the shuffle.

One piece of advice to an aspiring writer?

Write it all down. You never know when you’ll need that one line. You’ll be surprised.
