It's that time again.... I am catching up on reviews!

Double Score
Double Score by K.L. Grayson

My rating: 4 of 5 stars - Would Recommend

Wow! This is not what I expected from KL Grayson, but it was still a super fun quick read.
This is a novella, and as such there is not a deep dive in either character or plot development.
What you do get here are 2 alpha males and the girl they have loved forever when they finally decide to go for her.
The focus here is the physical expression of Long denied feelings and they express those feelings - frequently!

 ARC Reads

806806 by Cynthia Weil

My rating: 3 of 5 stars - Average Read

This was an entertaining and fun read.
3 high school students who each have their own issues discover that they share a biological father through a sperm bank. 806 chronicles their efforts to find him and the adventures they have along the way.
It was interesting to see the evolution of the relationships between Katie, Jesse, and Gabe as they transition from strangers with preconceived notions to friends to siblings who support each other.
The thing that kept this from being a higher rated read was the idealistic, all tied up in a bow resolution. When the kids finally find their "father" things go better than anyone could imagine and it just seems a little too good to be true.

Dirty Games (Dirty, #2)Dirty Games by HelenKay Dimon

My rating: 3 of 5 stars - Average Read

Review Copy Provided by Publisher via NetGalley

After meeting the Drummond Brothers in previous books, I was curious to see their stories and adventures continue.
Dirty Games follows the youngest brother, Finn, as he goes to figure out issues with a charity receiving supplies destined for them. Sexual tension and intrigue start almost as soon as Finn arrives and butts heads with charity director, Justin.
Finn and Justin's story is interesting and I especially enjoyed the intrigue element of the story. Unfortunately, the romantic story fizzled for me. The baggage that Justin brings to the situation makes him a bad relationship bet and the yo-yo act he puts Finn through is aggravating to watch. The sad part of this for me was that when things between Fin and Justin were working, the mutual care and affection they had for each other radiated off the page.
Even though I don't think Dirty Games is the strongest read, it was entertaining and I am looking forward to seeing the conclusion of the Drummond Brother's stories.
