I have to confess that I was a bit reluctant to read the Addendum. Not because I don’t love Melanie Moreland and her cast of characters, but because I do enjoy them so much. I was a bit worried this would color my perception of them. I shouldn’t have worried! Ms Moreland took excellent care of this beloved family.

The Addendum is sequential to previous series (The Contract, BAM, ABC) and brings characters from all into play. If you have not read some/all of these books, then this read may be a bit of a struggle. Reading The Contract books, especially would be helpful before reading The Addendum.

The cast of characters here is fairly large, but the focus is on 4. Richard and Katy (now in their late 50s or early 60s) and Ashley and Luc (new characters). I don’t want to give anything away, but I will say that I appreciated how Ms Moreland handled the issues presented. Richard was (once again) forced to face the man he was before falling in love with Katy. Ashley was faced with a change in her narrative. Love surrounded all of these characters and helped them navigate the hard issues.

Full of love, friendship, and a bit or hard truth, The Addendum is a must read for loyal Moreland fans.

Dirty Letters popped up on sale recently and since I enjoy the Keeland/Ward duo, I had to grab it and I am so glad I did. Luca and Griff are fantastic characters with a wonderful meet cute. It was incredibly sweet to watch their story play out.
This was a feel good book that I needed right now. Dirty Letters is an excellent blend of friendship, love, intimate moments, and over coming challenges.
