Wow! Part of me wants to stop there, because that's how I feel right now having just finished this book, but I know that's not really a review... Let me start by saying that the synopsis of this book doesn't do it justice at all. Yes, the book is about 2 young women and their marriages, but that just scratches the surface. Marital Blissaster follows Madison and Callie going back and forth between their points of view. We also go from present day to their high school/college experience to get the back story for where they are now. The author does an excellent job of balancing Madison's story with Callie's so that we have an opportunity to get to know them both and appreciate the journeys that they are going on. I also found myself relating to both women. I could easily put myself in both of their shoes to some extent. I don't know if it's age or something else, but as I read, I kept asking myself "would I do that?" and "how would I handle that situation?" I loved the way the situations were resolved; both women learned important lessons about love and family and there was even a pretty awesome surprise twist. I won this ebook during another author's facebook party and I'm so glad I did. Ms. Taylor will definitely be an author whose work I look into more.
