Tour: A Sweet Possibility by Natalie Charles

Life tastes better with chocolate...
All baker Jessica Mallory wants is a modest thigh gap. And her own chocolate shop. And to marry Quinn Rogerson, the man of her dreams. Too bad Quinn just dumped her, leaving her on her front steps in a hideous chartreuse dress. Now, Jessie clings to one hope: she can win Quinn back, if only she can become the woman he's looking for. Enter Nate Lancaster, Quinn's hot best friend and a personal trainer. If anyone can whip Jessie's soft form into jaw-dropping shape, it's him. Good thing Jessie and Nate are in that safe "just friends" category. Otherwise, things could get complicated – fast. For Nate, it was love at first sight. But Jessie's got her gaze fixed squarely on Quinn. Still, Nate can't pass up the chance to help Jessie with her self-improvement plan, even if she's got another man in mind. After all, minds can be changed, and Nate's never shied from a challenge…

This was a fun quick read. Jessie and Nate are both really fun characters in a fairly typical friends to lovers story. When we first meet Jessie she needs a big wake up call. She's dating her dream man, but it's not going anywhere and she is blindsided when he ends things. She decides she isn't "good enough" for him and needs to make changes. Jessie turns to life long friend Nate to help her with the physical part of her plan. Watching these two dance around each other was fun. Nate is pretty transparent about his feelings for Jessie, but she has so many issues that she can't see it. I was so glad when they both finally wised up and got together. I was also glad to see Jessie work through some of her issues and realize that the only person she needed to live for was herself. I absolutely loved it when she stood up to the ex boyfriend. There are no big surprises in A Sweet Possibility, but it's definitely a fun read - perfect for a rainy afternoon.
