What are you working on now?
I’m working on Fire Over Frost, a short story to be released in the Hot For the Holidays Anthology, to be released November 3rd.

Do you get to write full time or do you also have a “day” job?
I actually have a “night” job as a high risk pregnancy nurse. Both writing and nursing feed my soul, and I’m not sure I could ever quit either of them. (Note from EB: I have a soft spot for nurses. Between 3 slightly complicated pregnancies and 10 days at the Children's hospital, I have a HUGE appreciation for the difference an awesome nurse can make :)
What is your favorite part about being an author?
My favorite part of being an author is watching my daydreams become something tangible that I can share with other people. It’s a cool, cool thing.
Scariest part of being an author?
I think the scariest thing for any author is putting yourself out there to be judged. You spend months working on a book, and then release it out into the world with your heart on your sleeve and your soul in the pages. It terrifying and exhilarating all at the same time.
Who are your favorites to read?
There are so many!! A few of my no questions asked, one click authors are Mia Sheridan, Kristen Ashley, and Colleen Hoover.
If you had a million dollars to give away, what would you do with the money?
That’s a tough question … I would probably split the money between St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, the Wounded Warrior Project, and animal rescue organizations.
One piece of advice to an aspiring writer?
Write what you feel and stay true to who you are. Ignore the noise. The rest will work itself out.
