Beast is a slight twist on the Beauty and the Beast story line.

Playing the Beast is Grady, a Medal of Honor winner from the Marine corp. He was terribly wounded in war and is struggling to adjust to his new life. Playing the "belle" role is Isa, a former reality dancing star.

A chance meeting, a one night stand, misunderstandings, and desperation lead to these two spending time together and trying to discover if they might have a chance at a real relationship. Ms. Albertson does an excellent job of crafting interesting characters in a fairly short work. Both Grady and Isa are worth getting to know and grow through the course of the story.
