Calamity, Montana has been the setting for 2 entertaining stories in which Kerrigan was a secondary character. In Brazen, we finally have a chance to get to know her better.

Ms Nash does an excellent job of using the tidbits we know about Kerrigan from the previous books to craft an entertaining meet cute for this enemies to lovers tale.

I enjoyed getting to know Kerrigan and Pierce and seeing the layers to their respective personalities. Both were complicated people with a lot going on behind the scenes. We get to see a great deal of relationship growth here, both in terms of the romantic and familial bonds for these characters.

Loyal Ms Nash readers will be glad to see previous main characters appear as secondary characters, so we get brief updates on what they are doing now. We also get to meet a few new characters that hopefully we will learn more about in the future. I am definitely enjoying this series and would love to see more.
