I think this may be my favorite book in the Wedding Belles series. Alexis and Logan have been partners and coworkers for 8 years - since a fateful chance meeting just after they both graduated from grad school. Now, the attraction that has always simmered between them boils over and changes everything in this friends-to-lovers romance. Alexis has been one of those characters that has been an enigma in the previous Wedding Belle books. We knew her without really knowing what made her tick. It was fun to really get to know her and begin to understand why she was so reserved. Logan has been more accessible in our previous meetings with him and I always felt a little bad for him that Alexis didn't see the heart on his sleeve. To Love and to Cherish is a fun, well written journey with these two. They both struggle with the change in the status quo. Their journey isn't smooth, but I appreciated the growth in both characters. Technically, this is a stand alone novel, but the cast of the previous Belles books are key in their secondary roles. I think reading the series in order would add to the enjoyment of this installment, especially in appreciating the changes in Alexis character that are key to the evolving love story.
