What are you working on now?
A secret project that I can’t discuss…but let’s say it has to do with the Saltwater Springs series in a roundabout way. ;)
Do you get to write full time or do you also have a “day” job?
I still have the dreaded day job. Dreaded not because I don’t enjoy it, but because what I really want to be doing all the time is bookish things. lol
Favorite part of being an author?
Meeting other people who love reading and writing as much as I do. The friendships I’ve made with readers, other authors, and bloggers are absolutely the cherry on top!
Scariest part of being an author?
Putting yourself and your work out there for judgement. You need a thick skin in this industry and while most days it’s fine, everyone has those days when they feel like breaking down into a puddle of tears. I don’t like those days.
Who are your favorites to read?
I have my three K’s ~ Kresley Cole, Karen Marie Moning, and Karina Halle
If you had $1 million to giveaway, what would you do with the money?
Oh, that’s SO hard and I don’t have an answer for you. I’m the type of person who would want to make sure I did the ‘right’ thing (for me) and so I know it would take me a while to decide. I can say though, that I like helping people who help themselves, so any charity or person I gave it to would fall into that category.
One piece of advice to an aspiring writer?
Work Hard. Stay Humble. Pay It Back. ~ That’s my own motto
