Elizabeth's Review
4.5 Stars - One of the Best Books I've Read
Review Copy Provided by Author
Ryleigh Andrew's is an author whose work has been sitting on my TBR for a while and after reading Losing You, I am seriously kicking myself for not moving her prior books higher up on the list.
In Losing You, Lizzie moves back to the Chicago area and reconnects with her best friend, Tom. That re-connection leads her to meet Marc, Tom's other best friend. The story that follows gives us a glimpse into what relationships are really made of and what it takes to be happy. This well written exploration has us asking the questions:
Can loving someone fix what might be "wrong" with us or do we have to fix ourselves first?
Is loving someone enough if you aren't "IN Love" with them?
Do friends really make the best lovers?
Are some relationships really the right person at the wrong time?
We follow the trio over the course of several years and witness their highs, their lows, and we get to see them pick themselves back up and try again. There were times when Ms. Andrews absolutely breaks your heart, but watching her characters triumph over adversity you are encouraged that love always finds a way. Sometimes it takes losing someone to find what you are really meant to have in life.

About the Author
During the day, Ryleigh is an analyst, but even then, she’s writing, sneakily crafting scenes on post-it notes. She's been told she's a bit of a geek...some say nerd. She'll agree to it all. She loves music. It's been a force in her life for as long as she can remember. Her love of Star Wars and superheroes has probably been going on just as long...see, this is where the geek/nerd thing comes into play. But, most of all, Ryleigh loves the written word. She's been writing for a long time. Her first story came to her during one of her history classes. She wrote it in the margins of her notebook in teeny tiny letters so no one knew that she was writing a book instead of taking notes on 16th Century Europe. She currently lives in Chicago, Illinois, with her husband and son, along with her Siberian Husky, Mick Jagger, and her cat, Winston Churchill.Connect with Ryleigh
