If you are looking for a heartwarming Friends to Lovers story, then When Sparks Fly is right up your alley.
When we meet Declan and Avery, they are longtime best friends and roommates. A car accident changes the status quo and long buried feeling surface that slowly shifts their relationship from friends to “more.”
I genuinely liked Declan and Avery. I found their friendship to be refreshing and appreciated the slow build as they both struggled with their revealed feelings. The approach taken to the “conflict” of the story was also one that I felt respected the value both characters placed on their friendship and having a successful resolution.
When Sparks Fly does double duty. Not only do we see the romantic story of Avery and Declan, we also get to know Avery’s sisters and the small group of friends that surround both Declan and Avery. I am definitely looking forward to seeing what Ms Hunting has in store for Avery’s sisters!

This was a free read that I picked up a while ago and am glad I finally had a chance to get to.
Jason and Faith had a instant attraction and it was entertaining to see them fight/ then explore the opportunity.
This is a storyline that makes you suspend believe a little bit, in terms of it had me thinking “who really does that?” But, it works for these two. There is a decent amount of emotional growth along with world building around Jason’s club. I was impressed with the balance of the various pieces of the story given how fast paced the story was.
