Erin and Warren had a steamy summer together when they were nineteen. At the end of the summer, she went to New York and he went to the Marines. They have never really gotten over each other and have continued the occasional hook up when they are in the same place. 6 years later, they reconnect for a steamy night at Christmas time. Due to the length of His to Take, we don't get to know Erin or Warren very well. Their time together is fun and well written, I just wish there was more of it. The one night we see of Warren and Erin's time together is combustible and the connection they have seems so real. It is easy to understand Erin's fears. I would enjoy getting to see what their story looks like down the road, past the initial re-connection.

What happens when you discover the little boy you used to babysit has been in love with you for years? What if that "Little boy" is now a sexy up and coming rock star?

Jasmine has to answer those questions in Crashed Out. Sarge comes home to see his sister and niece while his band is on a break over the holidays and ends up staying with Jasmine. He does nothing to hide his attraction to her and when she finally gave in, their sexy time made my kindle steam!

These two are more than just sexy time, Ms. Bailey also gives them opportunities to build a relationship. For some reason, they both seem to think that Jasmine has to stay in the New Jersey town where the grew up and that leads to heartache when Sarge has to leave (or thinks he does). I loved how his sister, who is also Jasmine's friend, pushes her to go find Sarge and be with him.

Crashed Out is not a long book, so we don't get too in depth with feelings and back story. But, it's just right for a satisfying quick read with characters that you can easily like and root for.

Say You're Mine is an entertaining take on the Friends to Lovers story line.

Steven and Lauren have been friends for nearly 20 years. Their relationship has survived him being deployed into a war zone with the SEALs and both of them making questionable romantic choices, but what happens when they take things beyond friendship?

Ms. Alberts does a great job of letting us get to know the characters while not bogging us down in too many details. It is obvious pretty quickly that these two have been more than friends for a long time, just without either one of them acknowledging it. I appreciated the way she let us see the fear that both Steven and Lauren had about taking their relationship to the romantic level. She also did an excellent job of giving us a glimpse into Steven's emotional state and the PTSD he was dealing with from his last and final deployment.

Say You're Mine is part of a series, but it work very well all by itself. The supporting cast is fairly small, but they impact the story as key players. If you have followed the series, you will get a glimpse of at least one of the previous couple and I'm pretty sure we met the characters for the next installment. Overall, this is a great quick read.

I honestly had no idea what to expect when I started this book as Ms. Crescent is a new author for me. I was pleasantly surprised with Betting on Bailey. Bailey is a smart, up and coming professor at NYU who realizes she has a worthless boyfriend. She moves out on him and he bills her for rent. She decides to get revenge by beating him at his own game. That leads her to Daniel and Sebastian (a billionaire CEO and super star chef). What starts as sexual attraction between Bailey and both men (who are best friends) gradually grows into deep relationships. The men's attraction and attention helps bring Bailey out of her shell. The relationship the three of them have together also helps center both men so that they focus on what's really important. I enjoyed watching these three together. Not only did they have great sexy times, but they also had some wonderful, normal relationship moments. I couldn't help but root for the threesome to make it work. This was my first book by this author, but it won't be the last.

Calling out his name, she held her breath, hoping she wasn’t dreaming. He stretched out his legs right before she heard his awakening hum. She loved hearing that sound as she laid on his chest or spooned up against him. Ethan lifted his head to regard her and a smile came to his face. “Good morning,” he said before sitting up, resting his elbows on his knees, the smile not disappearing. Mia wanted to crawl across the floor and climb up and curl up in his lap, rest her face in that nook between his shoulder and his neck, his scent comforting her like it always did. “What are you doing here?” she asked, not saying anything she just thought. He stood and crossed the few feet to her, then slunk to the floor beside her, pulling his knees in front of him. “Why do you think?” “I don’t know what to think that’s why I asked.” He sighed quietly. She barely heard the small amount of indecision in that release of air, but she did. “I couldn’t stay away. The way you looked as I left haunted me. I realized that despite all the ways you said to the contrary, you needed me.” As much as she pushed him away over the past few months, Mia knew he was right. She did need him, the steady, solid strength of his by her side as she tried to figure out how to get herself better.

“Ready,” she announced as she slowly walked down the steps to join him. The damn skirt teased the fuck out of his cock with each step down. Seriously? A skirt? How was he going to resist that? Was he even supposed to? “So, did you think about what you wanted to do while you were in the shower?” he asked, the visual of her naked body under the water, lathering up with soap, popped into his head. Stop torturing yourself, he thought. Mia smiled up at him. “I did. It’s such a beautiful day. So, I was thinking a little shopping for you and then the beach. And no need for the studio. I called instead.” “Sounds like a plan. Do you have your swim suit?” he asked, gesturing at her with a sweep of his hand. “It’s on under this.” “Really?” he said, peeking down her shirt. She treated him to her lovely laugh as she held out her shirt. “See?” He did. The cups barely covered her lush breasts. He wanted to bury his face in between them. As he thought about his face in her breasts, his mind wandered to what her bikini bottom covered. “I do. A bikini.” “Yeah.” “Nice,” he said, taking another look, staring at the swell of her breasts.
