Kace is the latest installment of the Pittsburgh Titans series.
He is the young goalie finding his place as he steps in for an injured starter. But, Kace has a secret!
Considering we are 20 books into the Titans series, I was afraid that we'd be running out of ways to have the stories be fresh. Ms Bennett did a great job of giving Kace an interesting back story and even more interesting love interest.

Kace was a character who was more complicated than he initially appeared, and it was truly a pleasure to get to know him better. He is paired with a professor, Laurel. Their connection is sweet, and it was so entertaining to see them get to know each other and explore their future.

This is a sports romance where hockey plays a big part in the story. The secondary cast is a small segment of the Titans, which makes it easier to keep track of the key characters in the series. This book also seems to be laying the ground work for us to start moving on to the next evolution of Ms Bennett's hockey stories and I can't wait to see where she takes us.
Please don't take the fact that it took me a while to read this personally, life is just lifing lately.
