Never in your wildest dreams could you begin to imagine all the filthy and depraved things that go on inside The Wicked Horse. Step inside and Woolf Jennings will make every one of your dirty fantasies come true. He’s covered in a facade of deception. An enticing blend of multi-millionaire and hot-as-hell Wyoming rancher, those that think they know Woolf Jennings admire his abilities to preside as CEO of his family’s cattle and oil empire. But only a privileged few truly understand what fuels the glitter of depravity in those gorgeous blue eyes. Only a few know he’s opened up a sinfully erotic and private sex club named The Wicked Horse right at the base of the beautiful Teton Mountain range. Sweet Callie Hayes has returned home to Wyoming and is looking forward to starting her life over again. After a night of impetuosity, she’s managed to put herself right in Woolf’s line of sight… the man who she foolishly offered up her virginity to years ago and was flatly turned down. Now Woolf is seeing that Callie is all grown up and has a kinky side to her that leaves him as confused as it does turned on. Worse yet, both Callie’s dirty desires and sweet heart are getting under his skin, and making Woolf question everything he’s ever believed about himself. **Warning: this book has sex in it. Lots of sex. Dirty sex. The Wicked Horse Series is a bit different than what Sawyer Bennett normally writes. While you’ll still enjoy fabulous characters, a suspenseful story, some witty banter and an epic romance, there’s just… a lot of sex. You’ve been warned.

In a matter of seconds my entire world changed, and it was in that moment that I stopped living and simply began to exist. In my grief, I sent a letter to the first boy I ever loved. I hoped in writing it I’d find some peace from the nightmare I was living, some solace in my anger. I didn’t expect him to write back. I wasn’t prepared for his words, and I certainly wasn’t ready for the impact this soldier would have on my life. A deep-rooted hate transformed into friendship, and then molded into a love like I’d never known before. Sergeant Devin Ulysses Clay did what I couldn’t: he put the shattered pieces of my heart back together, restoring my faith in humanity and teaching me how to live again. But now that I’m whole, I have a decision to make. Do I return to my life as I knew it and the fiancĂ© I left behind, or do I walk away from it all for the only man to ever break my heart? *** I’ve been living in hell, but you won’t hear me complain. These men depend on me, as I do them, and this brotherhood is the only family I’ve ever known. The Army saved me from a callous mother and a life on the wrong side of the tracks that was quickly spiraling out of control. So unlike most of the men in my platoon, going home wasn’t something I longed for. I was content overseas, spending my days defending this country that gave me my life back. Fighting became my new normal … until her. A letter from Katie Devora—a letter that I almost didn’t open. Her words put a fire back inside of me that I didn’t know I’d lost. She gave me hope during a time when I was fighting every day just to stay alive, and now it’s time I fight for her.

I am a son. I am a brother. I am an artist. I am a student. I am her student. She was my first. First infatuation, first ‘real’ kiss, first love, first..... heartbreak. I gave her everything, including my body and would have given her more. I gave her ‘I love you’ ….she told me her heart was filled by another, there was no room left for me. We could never be. What we did was wrong. It didn’t feel wrong to me. The deepest hurt is a love that you cannot have. It will last the longest, cut the deepest and feel the strongest. It is an imperfect love; a disfigured circle that never ends. You cannot control it; it's as simple as blinking and just like blinking the more you try to stop it, the more the pain consumes you. This is book 3 in 'The Love by Numbers' series. Although it contains characters from the previous books, it can be read as a standalone.

Dying . . . Dead . . . Deceased . . . It doesn’t matter how many times I say it or how many different names I give it, it still means the same thing. One of these days I’ll be nothing but a passing memory, a familiar face in a forgotten photo. But there are three things I need before this life of mine ends . . . I need to tell him I love him more than life itself. I need to feel the strength of his arms wrapped around me just one more night. Most of all, I need him to forgive me. Eight years ago I broke the heart of the only man I’ve ever loved and today I’m moving home in hopes that he’ll let me put it back together. I’m not sure how many breaths I have left, but I’ll use each and every last one fighting for what I destroyed. My name is Laney Jacobs and this is my journey.

This is not a story about fairytales. I expected to be lonely when I dropped everything and ran without telling a soul. I expected to be afraid, hiding from Dean. What I didn’t expect was Vic. Like a moth to my blazing destruction, I’m drawn to him. We’re lust. We’re rage. We might even be love. We’re definitely two people who shouldn’t be together, but we belong together. It’s not long before I’m wondering if Vic could be more twisted than the man I ran away from. Our fire won’t burn forever, but something tells me Vic might revel in the ashes. I should have known better than to think I stood a chance. WARNING: This book contains graphic sex, graphic violence, and mental illness. This may be a trigger for some. Proceed with caution.

King Pin ~ Lili St Germain ~ NEW RELEASE

EXCERPT

I recoiled as I felt her blood hit my cheek, the deafening roar of my gun something that was becoming far too familiar. Allie hit the dirt before I’d even blinked, the force of the bullet sending her straight onto her back. Above the steady drum of the rain, I heard movement outside. Jesus. Was she still alive? I opened the door as quietly as I could and slipped out, pressing it shut behind me. The rain was brutal, and I could barely see in front of me. I circled around the back of the pickup, gun at the ready, my eyes searching for any movement as I rounded the corner of the truck and happened upon Allie. There was blood coming from her mouth, and she had one arm outstretched, reaching clumsily for her gun. In her dying moments, she didn’t look like a bitch anymore. She looked like a sad, lost little girl, and I silently cursed Murphy for pulling her into this hellish existence. For the first time, I realized that she was younger than me, just a young woman who fell in love with the wrong man. Don’t we all. She saw me, and her hand reached for the gun more desperately. Before she could grab it and take a shot at me, I placed my bare foot on her wrist, pinning it to the ground. She looked up at me, her eyes sad. ‘I thought he loved me,’ she choked. I nodded, crouching beside her. ‘That’s the thing about men like Murphy,’ I said softly. ‘They’re not capable of love, Allie. They only know how to destroy.’ She seemed to soften, her eyes closing momentarily. Blinking back tears, she gazed up at me. ‘I don’t want to die,’ she whispered. ‘I didn’t know.’ I nodded sympathetically, pushing her hair back from her face. Before she could do anything, I placed my hand over her mouth and squeezed her nose shut between my thumb and index finger. Shock and realization lit up in her eyes as she thrashed her head back and forth beneath my grip. ‘That’s the difference between you and me,’ I said to her, as she clawed at my hand and sucked against my palm for air. ‘I’m old enough to know better.

My Kind of Wonderful ~ Jill Shalvis ~ COMING SOON and REVIEW

Jill Shalvis' latest entry in the Cedar Ridge series, My Kind of Wonderful, is coming soon. See what we thought....

Coming December 22!

UNEXPECTED AND UNDENIABLE...

Bailey Moore has an agenda: skiing in the Rockies, exploring castles in Europe, ballroom dancing in Argentina. Now that she has a second lease on life, she's determined not to miss a thing. What she doesn't realize is that item #1 comes with a six-foot-one ski god hot enough to melt a polar ice cap. She doesn't want to miss out on him either, but Hudson Kincaid isn't the type of guy to love and let go. And as gorgeous as Cedar Ridge is, she's not planning to stick around.

As head of ski patrol at his family's resort, Hud thinks he's seen it all. But never has he run into someone like Bailey. She might look delicate, but her attitude is all firecracker. And her infectious joy touches something deep within him that he's been missing far too long. Now he'll just have to convince Bailey to take a chance on her biggest adventure yet . . . something rare and all kinds of wonderful.

Elizabeth's Review

3.5 Stars - Worth a Reader's Time

Review Copy Provided by Publisher via Net Galley

The Kincaids of Cedar Ridge are back! This time we get to know Hudson (Hud), the brother in charge of ski patrol for the resort as well as a part time police officer. When first see Hud in My Kind of Wonderful, he has his hands full and really doesn't want or need anything else in his life. Then he meets Bailey, the graphic artist his mother hired to paint a mural at the family's resort. The funny thing is, that Bailey doesn't really want romance in her life right now either because she is finally cancer free after a 10 year battle.

I enjoyed both Hud and Bailey and I loved them together. Their story is typical Shalvis with the slightly wounded, Alpha type hero and the funny, strong heroine. Bailey (with some help from the other Kincaids) helped soften Hud up so that he could see that there is life outside of work and worry. Both characters have their struggles that make your heart hurt for them, but those moments make the laughter they bring each other much sweeter. Misunderstandings cause problems and I loved how they were resolved, I think it may have been one of the better "grand gesture" stories I've seen. Hud's brothers, sister, and sisters-in-law all play a big role in the story and provide great comic moments.

If you are a Jill Shalvis fan or brand new to her work, you will enjoy My Kind of Wonderful. My Kind of Wonderful is the second in the Cedar Ridge series, but it definitely stands on it's own as an independent story.

King Pin ~ Lili St Germain

EXCERPT

John’s poker face disappeared, morphing into something that looked equal parts lust and rage. His hands found my wrists again, pushed me roughly so my back settled against the tiles once more. ‘What do you do when you want something you can’t have?’ he ground out. His blue eyes were bright, a dead giveaway about the state of his mind. When he fired up, they spoke loud and clear. I knew because I’d been looking away from them for years, afraid that if I stared too long, I’d get lost in them. And I could absolutely, definitely, categorically, not get lost in John Portland’s eyes for even one second.
He. Was. Dornan’s. Best. Friend.
‘I wait,’ I whispered, my own convictions sliding away like melted butter as he rested a hand on my hip, just above my panties, and squeezed. ‘And then?’ I thought about the money I’d stockpiled. Emilio’s dirty money. My escape plan, for a rainy day. And it was pouring with rain right now. ‘When nobody’s looking, I take it.’ His eyes burned into me. ‘Nobody’s looking, Ana.’ Something inside me snapped, like an elastic band that had been pulled and pulled until it broke apart. I was starving. Not for food. For affection. For understanding. For the touch of a man who wasn’t trying to hurt me. We came together in a frenzy, lips crashing on lips, hands everywhere. I pulled him close to me, sighing into his mouth as I felt how hard he was against me, only his jeans separating us.
