This is a fun second installment to the Blue Collar brother series! We met Cristian and Vanessa in the first book and get to know them better in this installment.

There is a bit of mystery surrounding Vanessa when we first meet her and it’s a treat to watch Cristian work to smooth out her rough edges and find the caring woman underneath. From the very beginning, there is a sense of “yes, these two belong together” especially seeing how he seems to always know what Vanessa needs, even if he doesn’t understand all of the why.

The three Bianco brothers are close and naturally have their stories very connected. If you haven’t read Mauro’s story, there will be spoilers here because Cris and Vanessa’s story comes sequentially in the time line. There are also lots of little teasers for the third book (Luca and Lauren).

Piper and Rayne are treat of an author pair and I am looking forward to seeing more from them.
