Trip Alexander was so much more than I expected!
We have met Trip previously as we got to know the Van Hamilton sisters (Blake and Hana), but oh boy, were there details missing.
Trip as a secondary character was very surface and it was easy to assume we knew what was going on with him. It was interesting to see his side of some of the same events and understand him better. He is paired with Giana (Gia) and based on the blurb I wasn’t sure what to think of her. She turned into a character that I found myself liking and rooting for.
These two together are on fire! Their chemistry radiates off the page and I appreciated seeing Trip evolve to be better and see Gia become stronger in her own.
Timing wise, this book runs concurrently with Blake and Hana’s books. If you haven’t read them yet, there will be a few spoilers, but nothing drastic.
