Welcome back to Eureka! A Little Luck is a heavily connected stand-alone telling the story of the youngest Stone brother, Adam, and his long-time friend, Piper. Due to how heavily involved the secondary cast is, I strongly suggest reading this series to get the full effect of A Little Luck.
I loved these two characters together! Piper has baggage she has hidden from her friends for over 10 years. It has impacted her life and relationships. Seeing her deal with that speaks to her courage and makes me root for her all the more. Adam’s love for Piper, and his willingness to let her take the lead, shine through and show how he’s the guy for her. Add in how he treats her son and he is the complete deal for a hero.
Several subplots from the series resolve themselves here - and a few new questions pop up due to new characters being introduced. I am glad to see the town of Eureka is not going away just because we have seen the Stone brothers get things figured out.
