4.5 stars for a book I absolutely couldn’t put down!
I love a good 2nd chance/right person, wrong time read and Never Have I Ever delivers that with a delicious twist!
Poppy and Laird are both characters we’ve met before in different series by Ms Scott. Fate does its thing (sorry - you have to read the book!) and we find them reconnecting as slightly different people with baggage that wasn’t there the first time they met.
Ms Scott weaves together a wonderful redemption story for Laird with healing for Poppy. We get to see how the past impacts them currently and how they grow together. The timeline is fairly compressed, but it feels realistic from the emotions that just radiate off the page.
