Elizabeth's Review

3.5 stars - Worth a Reader's Time

This was a slightly different sports romance for me in that the female lead was the “bad boy” and both leads really had some growing up to do.
I definitely enjoyed getting to know Marina and Drew in this installment of the Sockeyes series. I haven’t read the whole series yet, as Ms Davenport is a new author for me, but this was an entertaining book.
The thing that kept it from being a full 4 star read for me was the idea that a couple of potential conflict points were allowed to just fizzle. Some were more important to the story than others, but they did leave me wondering about resolution.
After reading this, I am curious about the rest of the Sockeyes!
