Jonah is book 7 in the Chicago Blaze series and gives us a peak into a character that we’ve seen off an on over the whole series. He is paired with Rey, an undercover FBI agent.
Both Jonah and Rey come into the situation with baggage and no intention of a relationship developing. I enjoyed how Ms Rothert focused on the current situation and allowed things to move organically between these two characters. Add is some great secondary characters and this is truly a fun and sweet story.
For loyal Blaze fans, you will be glad to see several cameos and opportunities to catch up with friends/teammates we’ve seen before in the series. This is a read that also works well as a stand-alone for people just finding the Blaze series.
