Fans of Ms Burgoa will be thrilled that Too Far From Grace and the Aldridge family aren’t completely done with us. Drummer, Mane, is the leading man in Finally You and the rest of the guys play key secondary roles.
Mane is paired with his first love, Nydia. To say that these two have baggage would be an extreme understatement, the strange thing…. They never actually broke up and have completely different versions of what happened to their relationship!
I loved the set up this story! Ms Burgoa did a fantastic job of introducing us to these characters and allowing us to feel their angst and frustration while hoping that they could find a resolution. One of the unique elements to Finally You is that the true problem is revealed fairly late in the story and with the set up, it actually works very well.
I found myself rooting for Mane and Nydia to find a resolution. I also enjoyed seeing the secondary cast and get to know them better too. This is a great beginning to a new series and I can’t wait to see what happens next!
