Meet Kate Meader

Originally from Ireland, USA Today bestselling author Kate Meader cut her romance reader teeth on Maeve Binchy and Jilly Cooper novels, with some Harlequins thrown in for variety. Give her tales about brooding mill owners, oversexed equestrians, and men who can rock an apron, fire hose, or hockey stick, and she’s there.

Now based in Chicago, she writes sexy contemporary romance with big-hearted guys and strong heroines - and heroes - who can match their men quip for quip.

Rebel Yule is the perfect, quick holiday read for fans of the Rebels and Rookie Rebels series.
We get to finally find out just what Erik did to Casey and how he fixes it… I loved these two together! It was pure fun to see the softer/more personal side of the Rebels goalie. Casey was a good fit for him too.

Some stories are just the right fit for a novella and I think this is one. Given the “conflict” between these two, I’m afraid if it had been stretched to a full length book that I would not have been able to embrace the characters as easily.

If you have not been reading the series in order, there will be some references that don’t make sense, but that should not detract from the overall enjoyment of the story. I have to admit to being very curious about where Tara’s story will take the team!
