This is a cute novella that catches up with Lori and Grayson, from the very beginning of the Sullivan's series. It's a cute read and was super fun to revisit them as they have a major life change.

This is a fun start to a new series for the reliable Ms Foster.
We met Mary and Brodie when a business transaction puts them together. Their interactions were entertaining from the beginning and I enjoyed getting to know them both.
I also appreciated the slow burn between these two and Brodie’s efforts to get the know the Mary underneath the facade.
Add in a little bit of intrigue and a good supporting cast and all of the ingredients are in place for a winning combination. I am looking forward to what Ms. Foster has in store for Jack and Charlotte!

This is a solid addition to the Westcott series, bringing together a couple of different groups. The story surrounding Elizabeth and Colin is entertaining and I wish we’d gotten to see more of them together.
Someone to Trust suffers a bit from what I consider “middle of the series” syndrome. At this point there are 4 of books of couples to track along with the assorted secondary characters that populate the various stories. Because of the relationships involved and how close these families are, the secondary cast is very large. Add in formal titles vs family names and the book becomes cumbersome and difficult to follow at times.
Elizabeth and Colin’s relationship is one that was sweet to watch, a bit of a slow burn and developing friendship. I didn’t love the conflict set up/resolution with his mother, but that falls under personal preference.
I jumped into this series with book 3. I do want to go back and read the first two and am looking forward to what comes next in the series. If I could offer one piece of advise to the author, it would be that it is time for some of the extended family to stay home in the next book and let the focus be more on the couple.

This is a series I’ve read before and I’m so glad I came back for more!
Paul is a character we’ve seen before as an antagonist. When we meet him here, he’s working to reform his reputation as he also takes his place as a Duke.
Daphne is a dear friend to two of our prior leading ladies and the younger sister of a prior hero. At 25, she is struggling to find her place in a world that doesn’t encourage independence among women.
I loved watching these two become reacquainted! Mishaps and intrigue craft the perfect environment for them to spend time together that society normally would have prevented. Watching them together, we discover that there is much more good in this Duke than he gives himself credit for.
The author did a fantastic job of weaving the secondary cast into Daphne and Paul’s story without letting them be over powering or confusing. For loyal readers of the series, there will be rewarding glimpses of prior characters, but there isn’t so much of a focus on the secondary cast that reading in order is necessary. Any of the books would be a good place to start.
The true affection between Paul and Daphne is heartwarming and makes you root for them to get things figured out. This is a great story for the holiday season!

What a perfectly good romp of a book!
Olivia is just an awesome leading lady! I loved how she handled getting a huge shock of betrayal and decided not to wallow in it. She didn’t believe she was strong, but her actions told another story.
Noah is just as swoon worthy as a swoon worthy leading man can be! I liked that he wasn’t perfect, but that his flaws were normal. He didn’t have a horrible experience coloring his outlook on life, just slightly skewed understandings of things that lead him to behave a certain way.
The magic these two create when Ms Kennedy puts them together just radiates out of the story. I’m surprised their amazing chemistry didn’t melt my kindle! This is a fast read and the author does an amazing job of making both Olivia and Noah feel like well developed characters with an interesting dynamic in a very short amount of time. This had that rare almost perfect balance between story/plot/character development and sexy time. I left Perfectly Inappropriate feeling like I knew who these people were, satisfied with how their story ended, and wanting more of them.
