Blurb:
I needed to get away.
My ex was getting married.
So, I left.
The English countryside was a picture-perfect escape.
The dashing stranger an even better one.
And what started as a chance encounter quickly became more.
He promised to show me how to live, how to feel alive and forget a past best forgotten.
He made me believe things could be different.
That was until I found out who he was . . .
He was Oliver Blackthorn.
The 16th Earl of Lockhart. Thirty-third in line to the throne.
And a liar.

Elizabeth's Review
3.5 Stars - Worth a Reader's Time
Review Copy Provided by Author
This is my first Ava Harrison book and I’m still trying to decide what I really think.
I liked Deceit, but I struggled a little bit with our female lead, Addison. I wonder if some of my struggle with her is because of not having the full back story of who she is and why she’s important to the author.
Olly, our main male character is another character that while I liked him, I didn’t fully connect with. Some of his actions in the second half of the story felt repetitive and didn’t necessarily advance his cause.
In terms of plot and conflict I’m, well, conflicted. Part of this comes from my struggle with Addison and Olly as characters. Deceit is well written and I did enjoy it. It definitely has me curious about the author’s back list.
